Hey there 😃 Welcome back.
Every Monday, I share a new Meditation on my YouTube channel, Move with Bri. This week’s Meditation is a great one to do if you are new to Meditation or have been wanting to try it out.

Most of us are aware that Meditation benefits our physical and mental health and well being, but if you haven’t started devoting time to sitting down and closing your eyes to (here’s the kicker) simply breathe, it can be intimidating! Everything will tell you not to, and it’ll sound something like this, “I know I should, but I don’t have time right now.” “I want to eventually, but now isn’t the right time.” “Eek. I’ll do it someday but I have too much on my plate.” “It seems boring.” “I don’t know how.”… The list could literally go on forever, and be reiterations of the same reasons to not start now.

I want to tell it’s okay. It’s okay to feel like you don’t have time, or that it is kinda scary and you don’t know why, or feel it will be boring. The important thing to remember is that we are alive right now. We long for more time and we long for connection. If any of that feels true to you, I encourage you to take 10 minutes today to do this Meditation with me. Perhaps you’ll finish and decide it wasn’t worth it, and you can move on and never sit quietly with your eyes closed to listen, ever again. But, perhaps, it will guide you to hear something that instead sounds like an old friend calling to say hello. Perhaps it’ll make your day feel a little bit more spacious, and you’ll notice the beauty of your partner’s eyes when you have your next conversation. You’ll hear sounds outside that remind you of being a little kid. Perhaps it’ll whisper something to you that you forgot makes you gleeful. Perhaps it’ll show you that time is a little more abundant than you were giving it credit for. Maybe. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The only way to see is to give it a try.

Oatmeal. ✊🏼 The breakfast staple that is yummy, versatile, and healthy. Every week on Move with Bri, I share new Yoga flows, Meditations and Workouts but today I shared a special “Bake with Me” Vlog. Join me and my friend Julia in our bright and homey Northern California kitchen to make Strawberry Banana Baked Oatmeal!

Julia and I are both self proclaimed perfectionists, and recognize that that sometimes leads to stress, and sometimes leads to beautifully nailed detail. 😂

Follow along with us as we use a loose way of measuring to embrace the flow and spaciousness that is found in imperfection. We hope you are inspired to be more playful in your own approach in creating whatever your heart desires to create!!

Our recipe:
Baked Strawberry Banana Oatmeal

Ingredients:

(Serves 4-6)

• 3 Large handfuls of rolled oats
• 3 cups oat milk
• a pinch of cinnamon
• a large handful of shredded coconut
• a palm full of chopped walnuts or your favorite nut
• 4 medjool dates + 3 tbsp hot water (mashed into a smooth paste)
• 10 strawberries (diced into 4’s) + some for topping
• 1 banana (sliced) + some for topping

Directions:
• Preheat oven to 375F
• In a 9×9 in. baking dish combine all dry ingredients
• Next, mix in your milk and date paste. Stir until it is all well incorporated.
• Stir in chopped fruit
• Bake for 45 mins-1hr.
• Top with your extra sliced bananas and strawberries.
• Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes on measuring:
A large hand full = about a cup
A palm full = 1/4 cup-ish
A pinch = a tsp about

😏😝 Bri here, I love what we’ve created together too. And I want to reassure you that this “ending” is by no means a bad thing. As I continue to grow in my own daily practices, routines and RYTHMS, I am finding that I am much more supported by a dynamic range of movements and stillness. As I grow, I find that naming my offering “Yoga” puts a tight border around the spacious offering that I yearn to share with you.

I made this decision to change our name, based on my commitment to grow our community with authenticity. THAT is a pillar for what has been, and always will be my heart and soul work. AUTHENTIC BE-ing. ✊🏼😌

With that said, what does that mean for our future?? Without further ado, I would like to joyfully introduce you to 🥁🥁🥁

Now on YouTube: Move with Bri, you can expect high quality and consistency in receiving new guided Meditations every Monday, Fresh workouts every Wednesday AND Yoga flows every Friday!!! You can count on me to be there with you in your living room, at the park or wherever you take your practice, 3 times a week, every week. 🌈 This also means that the library of available content is growing at a quicker rate. Make sure to check out the videos that have been shared in the last two months in case you missed something juicy! 🍑

Alright, so you know we’re still here. You know there are additional styles of videos to support you health and best being. You know there is high quality and reliable consistency in content. The only other thing I’ll tell you right now is that I have some really amazing things to share with you in the upcoming months. 🙊😍 And I’m not spilling any beans on what they are yet. I hope you continue to show up to see them unfold. I can guarantee you will be moved.
