Challenge alert 🚨 JANUARY 2-11

Howdy friends,
I’ve teamed up with @chrissbot @6foot8yoga and @j.jones001 over on Instagram to bring you a yoga challenge. Ten days of creative hybrid poses. This challenge is meant inspire you to explore your potential in the physical yoga practice, as well as connect and share encouragement with your fellow participants.

Each day, we will offer a classic yoga pose with a creative spin, but we invite you to use your own creative expression with the posture. And daggonit have fun! Use any props you need to make the poses accessible to you.

@arthleticwear @spirituallysavvyllc @stickybesocks and @awaykco have generously offered gifts to the winners of #ArtsyAsanas.
To participate, head over to my Instagram account:
1. Repost the flyer I posted announcing the challenge
2. Follow all hosts and sponsors/tag us in your entry photos each day
3. Tag your photos each day of the challenge with the hashtag #ArtsyAsanas.
4. Participate all 10 days.
5. Be creative and have fun!!

Day 1 – Side plank with Tree Legs
Day 2 – Extended Triangle
Day 3 – Toe to Heel Toe Stand
Day 4 – 1 Legged (half lotus option) Forward Fold
Day 5 – Twisted Monkey
Day 6 – Side Crow with Leg variant
Day 7 – Pincha Māyūrasana
Day 8 – Lotus Headstand
Day 9 – Down Dog or Tiger Pose
Day 10 – Warrior II with a back band

Hey friend! I am so happy to be taking a group to Nicaragua next summer for a yoga retreat in the inspiring, homey jungle getaway, Maderas Village.

I visited Maderas Village last summer for a yoga retreat with Adriene Mishler. My time there was beautifully balanced with personal reflection and the company of good people. Now, I look forward to taking you here in June for a week of yoga, fun and friends.

What you can expect:

Two daily yoga sessions led by me in an open air studio, 3 organic house made meals each day, (and unlimited house made drinks!), plenty of space to relax in a hammock by yourself or kick it with a group of friends, a short walk to the beach, a week to remove distractions and tap into your beautiful self. Other activities include horseback riding, surfing, massage & sound bath, and catamaran cruise.

Hey there 🙂

Starting Monday, January 2, I have added a new class to my teaching schedule. I’d love to invite you to come and welcome the new year together in my weekly, Monday night Candlelight Vinyasa Yoga Class at 7:30pm at The Yoga Studio Campbell.

Together, we will find space to move. We will cultivate awareness as we connect body, mind and breath. As always, I will provide sultry music (haha, I have to) as we yoga in the dark candlelit studio. No yoga experience is necessary. This is an all levels class. Come and find your freedom. I’ll see you on our mats.
